The bond between the Labour Party and the trade unions is strong and vibrant in the regions.

Our structure of Regional TULO Committees allows Labour’s affiliated unions to meet regularly with the Party to talk about campaigning and issues of mutual concern in the region.

Affiliated trade unions also get involved in the Party’s democratic processes in the regions - attending regional conferences, and sitting on the Party’s Regional Boards, helping to guide the work of the Party.

The Regional TULO Committees also offer support to union members who want to become active in the Party, and to local Labour Parties who want to build better links with trade unions.
