East Midlands Labour Party members have selected 5 candidates to stand for Labour in the European elections this June.

 

Glenis Wilmott

Glenis WillmottGlenis has been the Labour Member of the European Parliament since February 2006. During that time Glenis has fought hard for the rights of people in the East Midlands. She has campaigned for increased protection for workers from third party violence, free fruit for schools, increased toy safety legislation and for an increase on the ban on tobacco advertising. Roy KennedyPreviously the Regional Director for the East Midlands Labour Party, Roy is now the Labour Party’s Director of Finance and Compliance.
