Hands off our pensions - let's take our campaign to ParliamentLET'S TAKE OUR CAMPAIGN TO PARLIAMENT!

Over the past few months, this campaign against the government’s unfair plans to increase the State Pension Age has had a real impact.

Just last weekend, together over 300 of us went to see our Members of Parliament in their local surgery, to ask them to support us when the Pensions Bill comes to the House of Commons after the Easter break. And we can see from the 100+ Members of Parliament who have signed Early Day Motions (parliamentary petitions) in support of our campaign that many MPs are on our side.

But we have to keep up the pressure. The Government have a big majority in Parliament, and getting enough MPs to vote against these changes will be hard.

That's why Age UK and unions together are working together to get as many people as possible to come to Parliament on May 18th to see their MPs.

Lobbying your MP is easier than it sounds - and we'll have loads of resources and support on hand to help you plan what you want to say. We'll be in Committee Room 19 on the day, from 11am to 7pm, to meet you and to provide all the help you might want, and I'll be emailing out a full pack nearer the time to those who have registered.

Sign up now to help take our campaign to Parliament, and follow our easy guide to meeting your MP in the House of Commons on May 18th. (Sign up even if you're only thinking about coming, but aren't sure yet - that way we'll make sure you get the right information if you do come!)
