The Tories are planning to launch an all out assault on Union rights - going much further than Thatcher ever would.The Guardian says the Conservatives are "looking at introducing laws setting new minimum turnout thresholds." This means that a majority of people eligible to vote would have to vote yes - not just those people actually taking part in the ballot.
They're trying to handcuff the unions - to stop us taking action to stand up for our members' rights.
