Welcome to the London TULO page. We hope that you find the page useful and informative.
The role of TULO is to continue the link between the Labour Party and Trade Unions. The affect of how well the link works was highlighted in the Warwick Agreement that was reached in July 2004. Working together, through TULO, we reached a historic agreement and a historic
third Labour term.
The agreement included:-
· Legislation on corporate manslaughter in the next parliamentary term.
· Four weeks paid holiday for all, exclusive of bank holidays
· Using Anti-Social Behaviour Orders to tackle violence, in and around front line
workplaces
· Protection for pension funds in company transfers or mergers
· Trade Unions will gain the right to bargain on pensions.
· Agreement to tackle unequal pay in local government.
· The expansion of apprenticeships
· Union learning representatives trebled to 22,000
· The New Deal to provide help to unemployed over 50’s
· Further action to tackle domestic violence and support those at risk.
· Stronger company disclosure on social, ethical and environmental issues.

TULO is always looking for trade unionists to get involved in helping the Labour Party win elections. The best way to stay up to date with what TULO is doing is you area is to sign up for email updates.
If you do wish to volunteer some of your time to deliver leaflets or make some phone calls on behalf of you local Labour Party then fill out the volunteer form.
You may also wish to consider ordering some materials from TULO with which you can use to campaign with in your place of work.
