Join unionstogether as we campaign in Hornsey & Wood Green for Labour's candidate in the general election, Catherine West.
As Leader of Islington Council, Catherine brought council housing back in-house so it was firmly under democratic control.
She is also a great supporter of the Living Wage - money in working people’s pockets that not only helps them pay the bills, but also gets spent on goods and services, growing the economy and creating more jobs.
Catherine’s opponent in Hornsey & Wood Green is Lib Dem MP, Lynne Featherstone. She has voted with the Government on all the key issues that have been opposed by Hornsey & Wood Green residents.
Lynne Featherstone voted FOR £9000 tuition fees, FOR the Bedroom Tax and FOR the Bill to carve up our NHS.
That’s why union activists are campaigning together next Sunday. We’re meeting on Sunday 22 February, 11am at Costa Coffee opposite Turnpike Lane Station. Even if you've never been out campaigning before, join us to help make a difference.
