Have you thought about joining the UnionsTogether Facebook Group?
UnionsTogether is the website created by TULO, the Trade Union and Labour Party Liaison Organisation.
It represents the 15 trade unions that affiliate to the Labour Party, and works hard to bring the voices of over 3 million trade union members to the heart of the Party.
TULO works regionally and locally to build strong and meaningful links between members of trade unions and local Labour Parties and Labour’s elected representatives. By ensuring a genuine 2-way partnership, we can ensure that Labour and the trade unions’ long-standing history is continued long into the 21st Century.

1330-1630, Thursday 12 June, Cardiff Business School, Cardiff
This half-day seminar at Cardiff Business School on Thursday 12 June will look at the effect of equality duties on the bargaining agenda. It is held in association with the Centre for Global Labour Research at Cardiff University and the Wales TUC. Free and open to all.
One of the most striking developments in the trade union movement in recent years has been increased commitment to representing the full diversity of working people and pursuing the issue of equality at work.
This seminar will examine the new statutory equality duties in the fields of race, disability and gender and consider the degree to which they present an opportunity to trade unions to develop further their work in representing diversity.
It will consider developments in the law, cases of unions using the law in innovative ways, the implications of the gender equality duty for negotiating equal pay and academic research on ‘equality bargaining’; that is the inclusion of equality issues in the union bargaining agenda.
Speakers: Tess Gill, Barrister, Old Square Chambers; Pamela Dooley, ICTU; Zaffir Hakim, STUC One Workplace Project; Professor Ed Heery, Cardiff Business School; Bronwyn McKenna, Unison; Jane Thompson, UCU.
Lunch provided. FREE to attend. To register and receive full details email MeinJA@Cardiff.ac.uk
